The Drupa in Düsseldorf takes place every four years and is the world's biggest trade fair in the field of print media. Any self-respecting organization operating in this sector simply must give an acte de presence there. So also AGFA, a Gielissen customer for 25 years now.
Customers and prospects
The Drupa stand has to meet three crucial criteria: It must be impressive, it must be a true rendezvous and it must generate revenues. That needs more than just a clever stand concept; it also demands an effective communication strategy.
Audience magnet
Apart from visiting the stand, AGFA invited visitors to an auction at 4.00 p.m. "That was Gielissen's Idea", said Ronald Marien, Director Marketing Communications at AGFA. "We had said that we wanted an event during Drupa that would both function as an audience magnet and generate revenues.
€100 million
"In the end, the order book counted more than €100 million", adds Ronald. "And part of that is on account of Gielissen. At Drupa, Gielissen again proved that perfect cooperation will produce equally perfect results."
