AIR Offices RotterdamThe former V&D building (a now defunct department store) in Rotterdam has undergone a complete make-over. AIR Offices is now a contemporary workplace, with an interior that respects it’s legacy and embraces the future. Gielissen took care of the custom-made interior.
Top-quality craftsmanship
This project demanded precision and artisanship. From stairs with clean lines and smart room dividers to perfectly finished plant containers – every element was carefully designed and crafted. The combination of the various materials, such as wooden curves in the room dividers and specially treated plant containers, provide a striking appearance. The high degree of engineering and attention to detail make this interior extra special.
Smart collaboration
A project like this can only succeed when all the parties are on the same page. Together with Neeo and D/DOCK, we worked in phases, reviewing the best possible solutions for the complex challenges along the way. The construction meetings played a crucial role here: issues were discussed and tackled immediately, so that everything fell perfectly into place.
